I want to start throwing (perfectly innocuous) French phrases into my casual conversation, and then say "Pardon my French."

"I can't believe they left behind all this s**t!"

"I can't believe they left behind this grande pagaille! (Pardon my French.)"

grande pagaille - big mess (-gaille sounds like the word "guy")

charivari terrible - terrible ruckus or din

agaçant - annoying or irritating
