things I need

for my Mom to get out of the hospital
to have home teachers I could actually call if I had a problem
ditto for visiting teachers
for the guy that's harrassing me to stop harrassing me
for my brother not to be sad all the time
for my Dad to be able to earn enough to pay for my Mom's hospital stay
for my friends to actually be excited that I'm comimg home like I thought they would be
to be able to sleep more than four hours at a time
to be able to type without a shooting pain in my wrists
to get my final project done before I have to leave tomorrow
not to run into bad weather
to be able to stay awake while I drive

(not to seem whiny for posting this on my blog)

Ah. So many things for me to comment on. Sorry about the tendonitis. That is no fun... make sure you take some pain killers and try to restrict your typing!! Or wear a brace.

I am! I am excited for you to come back! I wish I didn't have to work all day every day, or else we could do bookbinding or something...

I have to say that the sentence "for the guy that's harassing me to leave me alone" is funny if you read it as a dependent clause instead of an independent clause. Dependent clause makes it sound like the guy is harassing you to make you leave yourself alone. Ha ha...

Sorry for making light of the situation but I found it humorous. :) Please don't leave yourself alone. I've been doing that lately and I wouldn't recommend it.

Ditto for me on the visiting teachers thing. Mine never come. I don't even know who they are.

I had to call the police on him. I don't really think it's funny.

Ok, then I take back everything I said, grammatically-speaking or not. :)

Holy crap that sucks, Katya. Um, seriously, I know this sounds dumb, but if you have the time, The Gift of Fear has some good things to recommend about situations like that. But then, that may not be an option (or even the best option) right now. That's really scary though.

Also, I know we're not "friends," necessarily, but for what it's worth, I'm really excited at the prospect that I might get to meet you while you're in town.

It's okay to be whiny. When the crap hits the fan, life sucks; I don't think there's any way around it. When life is sucking, sometimes it feels really good to just disappear for a while. Maybe you'll find your road trip therapeutic.

Just remember to look out for ice and listen to angry music whilst traversing Nebraska.

Something else you need? A cartoon about you. And Star Wars. It's right here.
