According to Netflix

I like:

Romantic Dramas based on classic literature
Critically-acclaimed Foreign Documentaries
Cerebral Independent Comedies
Feel-good Sci-Fi & Fantasy
Visually-striking Suspenseful Movies

I'm not so sure about that last one, but the first four seem to be on target.

Middle three are a good match for myself.

Although I'd like amend "feel good" to say "feel good-but not in an unmanly way."

.

That sounds like a pretty good way to spend the weekend.

Netflix thinks I like pretty much the same categories. Even down to the visually-striking suspenseful movies (I've never bothered to pay attention to which movies I've rated makes them think that . . .)

Confuzzled - I was going to log in to tell you which moves those were based on, but they're showing me different categories this time. ("Inspiring foreign family movies," "Romantic movies featuring a strong female lead," etc.) I remember that one of the "Visually striking suspenseful movies" was "Minority Report," though.

One thing I wondered is if they were deliberately trying to be flattering when they named the categories. (Or if my categories really do reflect my excellent good taste in film. ;) )

I like Dark Political Movies based on real life, Visually-striking Sci-Fi & Fantasy, Critically-acclaimed Inspiring Independent Movies, and Mind-bending Dramas. Also I'm fond of inconsistent capitalization strategies.
